Set measurable goals

Empower others with clearly defined goals. Make them achievable and increase your team engagement by breaking those goals down into smaller steps with clearly defined tasks. Everyone gets excited when there is a visible, undeniable finish line.

  • Have team and individual goals align with company goals to achieve overall success.
  • Provide a target date for each goal, breaking it down into smaller steps by considering how much time it will take to complete.
  • Approach writing goals with a positive attitude, and be specific about what you want to accomplish.
  • When meeting 1:1 about goals, managers and employees. should come to the table with suggestions.
  • Make sure to realize there is a difference between a goal and the system of achieving that goal.
