Communication is the lifeblood of a team, especially when everyone is working remotely. Look for made-for-business tools that are both flexible and structured, a bit like supercharged versions of Whatsapp. If you set them up properly, they can quickly become the lifeblood of your organization.

Things to think about

  • Urgent communication will always be important, but the more remote you become, the more you need to lean make sure your
  • communication is thoughtful.
  • Taking the time to write your thoughts down will help refine and provide more context to others, which can catch people up to speed quicker.
  • Don’t hesitate to give all of the information at once, your teammate might be replying to you at a different time.
